Cornwall Blood Bikes working with Camborne Taxi’s

Cornwall Blood Bikes is run solely by volunteers and the good will of the communities in Cornwall.  Working with our partners and the NHS is intensive sometimes, but behind the scenes a lot goes on to ensure that our vehicles are maintained well and serviced regularly.  Our volunteers work tirelessly to keep our wheels turning, but sometimes we get stuck logistically, with the movements of vehicles for servicing and maintenance, which we try to conduct in the working day, which is outside of our operating times.

We are delighted to announce that Camborne Taxi’s have agreed to work with us to help us ‘ferry’ our volunteers around if we get stuck which is an amazing offer from them which we are so pleased about.  It will certainly help us to maintain our fleet whilst maintaining our service in the most efficient and best possible way.  Our working relationship with Camborne Taxi’s will certainly help to reduce the ‘sometimes felt stress’ of arranging lifts to collect bikes and move them around our county.

A massive thank you from all at Cornwall Blood Bikes goes out to Camborne Taxi’s and we are looking forward to working with you.

RAF Portreath Donate

Mark Holroyd and Dave Wheaton spent an entertaining morning at RAF Portreath on Wednesday collecting a check for £450.
The cheque was donated by the staff from a charitable fund that gives to charities helping the local community which is something the CBB does every day of the year helping to support our NHS partners.RAFPortreath2016
