At the beginning of May you would have found a blood bike or two based at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park as we were invited to attend the Cornish Mini Club Riviera Run 2019. It was an action packed weekend especially for our on duty rider “Mr Mark” who covered 300 operational miles on duty in one day. The Riviera Run brought many features for both classic and BMW minis with trade stands, demonstrations, drive in movies and all culminating with the Riviera Cruise to Land’s End on the Sunday where they were met by CBB volunteers.
As Cornwall Blood Bikes were attending the Wadebridge Wheels 2019, our volunteers led by CBB Fundraising Manager Ian Butler, Mr T, Graham Rees, and Jayne Penlerick were invited to join the CMC stand to accept a cheque from the group for an outstanding £1,000.00
We never cease to be humbled when organisations and groups take the trouble to work so hard on our behalf to raise money and donate money which truly does keep our wheels turning. All money raised in Cornwall stays in Cornwall and every single penny goes back onto our fleet of eleven BMW R1200 RTPs.
Thank you to every single person that helped in anyway from all the volunteers at Cornwall Blood Bikes.
